Celebrating the citizenship of new Canadians

Group decision making and financial management have been central to Kathy’s career. As a principal with Source Facilitation Collective, Kathy is hired regularly to guide groups to reach collaborative outcomes. As treasurer of Quayside Village, her skill at bookkeeping and achieving consensus has been vital to the community’s success. Kathy believes in the important role of elders in decision-making and she teaches a seniors’ course at SFU on “Aging Well in Community”. Kathy is committed to seeing businesses prosper in our community. Kathy would bring her skills in fostering collaboration to work every day as a city councillor.

Camp Manager for French Camp

"Kathy has a rare gift for collaboration - she balances her own inspiration and energy with an ability to listen deeply and understand the goals and ideas of her partners. Whether taking the lead, giving support or functioning as a peer, Kathy is a joy to work with."
